Meet the IMPACT 2010 Core Team - a bunch of Singaporeans studying in Australia that would love nothing better than to meet you, and together with you, make the Gospel of Jesus Christ known in Australia and Singapore.

Ashley |
| Hey everyone, I'm Ashley with the orange scarf, and I was studying third year Mechanical Engineering in UNSW. I first became a Christian when I was studying at Balestier ITE, when a group of people came up to me and shared the Gospel. Ever since then, my life has changed in ways I cannot explain. As I dig into the Bible more and more each day, I learn that the Gospel is the only way to change people's hearts. So when I heard about IMPACT, I got totally excited about it! I encourage you to come; see, hear and experience, but most importantly be IMPACTED by the Gospel of Jesus Christ! |

Boon |
| I'm a second year Law & Arts (Philosophy) student in the University of New South Wales, currently attending Hosanna Baptist Church in Singapore, and the Fellowship of Christian University Students (FOCUS) in Sydney. Coming to Australia changed my life because it was here that I learned to read the Bible for myself and found out who God really is. I'm working on the IMPACT Conference because I want the same for every Singaporean student intending to come over to Australia. One quiry thing about me: I tell jokes with a straight face. |

Christie |
| I'm a second year Medicine student who loves life, the way it is - the good times and the tough. I especially love the people God has brought into my life - the ones who encourage me to live a Godly life, and ones who challenge the Gospel I believe in. I'm real excited about IMPACT because it's going to be a great opportunity to meet more people who can fall into either of these categories. In fact, I wish there had been an IMPACT Conference in my first year! It would have given me a chance to meet people in the same position as I was - uncertain about what to expect, not knowing whether I could find a church, or simply having no friends at all! So, I hope to see you all there! |

Ivan |
| I'm married to the lovely Agnes and have a 21-month-old daughter, Sophie, with another son due late August. At the moment, the whole family is in Sydney where I'm being trained to tell people about Jesus and all the riches that are found in Him. Sydney is a great place to live and study but our hearts are for Singapore and the need for the Gospel there. So, we're returning to our church there - Bethesda Church Bukit Arang - in 2011. I'm hoping to meet other Singaporean students studying in Australia at IMPACT so we can encourage each other to boldly make Jesus known. In my spare time, I watch old kung fu movies, listen to music from the '60s and wait for my beloved Liverpool to beat the scum. |

Klement |
| Hi! I'm Klement - a third year Science student. When I completed my 2 years of National Service, I knew I had to face another few years of independent lifestyle, this time away from my family and friends back home. I was filled with uncertainty but strangely, I was excited about my future - studying in Australia. While trying to integrate into a completely foreign environment, I met many other Singaporean Christians at church who welcomed me with their true blue Singaporean accent. The Gospel, to me, is sentimental, profound and truthful. It gives me a different view of life, realising that there's so much more to it than just living for myself. I'm looking forward to the learning, conviction, and challenge from God's word and not forgetting the amount of fun that IMPACT is colliding into this summer! |

Lincoln |
| Hi! I'm Lincoln. I'm a first year Bible College student in Sydney. I'm married to Grace, and we have a 17-month-old son, named Nathan. In my free time, I enjoy playing with Nathan and having friends over for a BBQ. I'm really looking forward to IMPACT 2010! I will be a great opportunity to hear God's word and fellowshipping with my brothers and sisters who are living in Australia. |

Minsheng |
| Hi there! I'm Minsheng and this is my second year in Medicine at the University of New South Wales. I became a Christian in my first year of JC and since then, never have I looked back without gratitude for the Lord's work and mercy in my life. I love reading, watching movies, travelling around the world and studying Medicine. Most of all, I love seeing how God works in and through people and cause them to turn their lives over to Him. Hope to see you at IMPACT 2010! |

Ming Fei |
| Hi everyone! My name is Ming Fei. I'm having a great time studying Medicine in Sydney! This is my second year. While studying medicine has been fun and challenging, it's been even more exciting to grow together with others in love and knowledge of God through studying the Bible. Since coming to Australia, my life has been completely transformed by properly understanding what the Gospel means and what it stand for. I hope that IMPACT will also help many Singaporeans studying in Australia discover Jesus either for the first time, or afresh - and be challenged to live for Him! |

Wei Bin |
| Hey everyone! I am a fourth year student who has a growing passion for Medicine, (loud) music, (enjoyable) exercise and learning about what gives life meaning. When I first came to Sydney, my dream was to become a good doctor. God's plans for me, however, are bigger than my own. In the past few years, I've grown quite a bit in the knowledge of His word, and having a relationship with Him. Through His blessings, I even got to meet the love of my life! :) I know that many of you might be feeling sad at the prospect of leaving your loved ones; that's why I would urge you to join IMPACT - to see living testimonies of others who've done just the same, and see how God leaves his footprints in the sand. |
